Privacy policy
Effective 29 October 2026. Main Event Supercross is made by CTXA LLC ("we"). This policy covers the Main Event Supercross app and this website.
The short version. There's no sign-up. Leaderboards, multiplayer and cloud saves run on Apple's Game Center. We store two things ourselves: ghost laps you post to a leaderboard, which other players can race, and anonymous play stats (which tracks are ridden, lap times, where laps go wrong), which you can turn off. No ads, no tracking, and nothing is sold.
Game Center
If you're signed in to Game Center, the game uses it for leaderboards, online races with other players, and saving your progress so it follows you to a new phone. Your best lap times go to each track's Game Center leaderboard under your Game Center name, and other players see that name in races. Apple runs Game Center, and Apple's privacy policy covers what Apple does with your Game Center account. We never see your Apple ID, email address or Game Center friends.
What we store
- Ghost laps: when a clean lap posts to a leaderboard, the game uploads a recording of that lap (where the bike went, so it can be replayed) with the board, the time and your Game Center player ID (an identifier Apple issues for our games only). It's stored in Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) public database so that anyone playing can pick your time on the board and race your ghost.
- Anonymous play stats: what happened in the game: app launches, play sessions and their length, which track and mode you picked and how long you rode it, the 250 or 450, each lap's time, whether it was clean, and if not, why and where (for example a crash, or leaving the course at a given spot). Each event carries a random ID the app makes for your install, a scrambled code made from your Game Center ID (so one player on two phones counts once; it can't be turned back into the ID), the app build and the time. They're stored in the same CloudKit database, apart from ghost laps, and are never shown to other players. We use them only to see how many people ride, whether they come back, and which tracks and sections are too hard.
Turning play stats off
In the game, go to Settings and turn PLAY STATS off. The game stops sending them and deletes any it hadn't sent yet. Leaderboard times and ghost laps still post, because they're part of playing on the boards.
What stays on your phone
Your settings, bikes, gear, personal bests and saved rides are kept on your phone, and copied to your Game Center saved games if you're signed in. They don't leave the phone except as described above.
What we don't collect
No email address, real name, phone number, location, contacts, photos, advertising identifier or browsing data. There are no ads, no third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools, and no tracking across other apps or websites. This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Who handles the data
- Apple runs Game Center and the iCloud (CloudKit) database where ghost laps and play stats are stored.
- Cloudflare serves this website and forwards mail sent to our support address.
We don't share your data with anyone else and we don't sell it.
Why we use it
To run the features you're using: rank your laps, let players race each other's ghosts, and keep your progress. The anonymous play stats are used to make the game better. Where privacy law asks for a legal basis, it's providing the game you asked for, and our legitimate interest in improving it.
How long we keep it
Ghost laps stay as long as the leaderboard they were posted to exists, or until you ask us to delete them. Anonymous play stats are kept as long as they're useful for improving the game.
Deleting your data
Email support@maineventsupercross.com with your Game Center name and we'll delete your ghost laps. You can also ask for a copy of your data or a correction. Your Game Center account and its scores and saved games are managed in Apple's settings. Play stats aren't linked to your name, so we can't tell which are yours; turning PLAY STATS off stops new ones. The data on your phone goes when you delete the app.
Children
Main Event Supercross is rated 9+. It doesn't ask for personal information and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child's ghost laps should be removed, email us and we'll delete them.
Changes
If what the game stores changes, including when it comes to Android, we'll update this page and the date at the top before that version ships.
